Frekvensbinsen, also known as frequency bins or frequency bands, refer to discrete ranges of frequencies within a continuous frequency spectrum. By dividing a frequency range into smaller segments, researchers and engineers can study specific components of a signal or noise more effectively.

In signal processing, frequency bins are commonly employed in Fourier analysis, where a time-domain signal is transformed into its frequency-domain representation.
