Fosforec
Fosforec is a term sometimes used colloquially, particularly in certain regions, to refer to phosphorus. Phosphorus is a chemical element with the symbol P and atomic number 15. It is a highly reactive nonmetal belonging to the nitrogen group. In its pure form, phosphorus exists in several allotropes, the most common being white phosphorus, red phosphorus, and black phosphorus. White phosphorus is highly toxic and pyrophoric, meaning it ignites spontaneously in air. Red phosphorus is less reactive and is used in safety matches and fireworks. Black phosphorus has a layered structure similar to graphite and is a semiconductor.
Phosphorus is essential for life, playing a critical role in DNA and RNA, cell membranes, and energy
