Fosfiniany, also known as phosphorus hydrides, are a group of chemical compounds composed of phosphorus and hydrogen. The most well-known member of this family is phosphine (PH₃), a colorless, toxic, and flammable gas with a characteristic foul odor resembling rotting fish.
