Formalinillä

Formalinillä is a Swedish term referring to the use of formalin. Formalin is an aqueous solution of formaldehyde, typically containing 37% formaldehyde by weight, along with a small amount of methanol to prevent polymerization. It is widely used as a disinfectant, preservative, and fixative. In biology and medicine, formalin is commonly employed to preserve biological specimens for study and to fix tissues before microscopic examination.
