Floridan

Floridan is a term historically used as an adjective or demonym related to Florida. In older or formal writings, a person from Florida might be described as a Floridan, though the more common modern demonym is Floridian. Consequently, Floridan appears primarily in older texts and in some technical or regional usages, rather than as everyday contemporary language for residents.

In scientific and geological contexts, Floridan is still widely used as a geographic qualifier.
