The Flexor Pronator Compartment is an anatomical region located in the anterior (front) forearm. It is one of the two main compartments of the forearm, the other being the posterior extensor compartment. This compartment contains a group of muscles that originate primarily from the medial epicondyle of the humerus and the coronoid process of the ulna. These muscles are responsible for flexing the wrist and fingers, as well as pronating the forearm, which is the movement of turning the palm downwards.
