Fiskenæsset

Fiskenæsset is a small, uninhabited island located in the Thisted Municipality of northwest Jutland, Denmark. Situated in the Limfjord, the island lies approximately 1.5 kilometers off the coast near the village of Fiskerby. Its name translates roughly to "Fishness" or "Fish Island," likely referencing its historical significance as a fishing site.

The island covers an area of around 1.5 hectares and is characterized by its low-lying terrain, sandy beaches, and sparse vegetation. Historically, Fiskenæsset was used as a seasonal fishing station by local communities, particularly during the spring and autumn migrations of herring and other fish species.
