FcRL1
FcRL1, also known as Fc receptor-like 1, is a protein encoded by the Fcrl gene. It is a member of the Fc receptor-like (FcRL) family of transmembrane receptors, which are structurally related to the classical Fc receptors but lack the ability to bind immunoglobulin (Ig) effector functions. FcRL1 is primarily expressed on B lymphocytes, particularly on memory B cells and plasma cells. Its precise function is not fully understood, but it is believed to play a role in B cell development, activation, and differentiation.
Studies suggest that FcRL1 may act as an inhibitory receptor, modulating B cell responses. It is thought
