Fázisszámból

Fázisszámból is a Hungarian term that translates to "phase number" in English. It is a concept used in electrical engineering and physics, particularly in the context of alternating current (AC) systems. In a polyphase AC system, such as a three-phase system, electrical power is supplied through multiple conductors, each carrying an alternating current that is out of phase with the others. The "phase number" refers to the number of these separate alternating currents that are synchronized but shifted in time.

For example, a single-phase system has one alternating current waveform. A two-phase system has two waveforms shifted by 90 degrees. A three-phase system, the most common type for power distribution, has three waveforms typically shifted by 120 degrees from each other. The fázisszámból is therefore a direct indicator of the complexity and capabilities of an electrical power system. Higher phase numbers generally allow for more efficient power transmission and the operation of more powerful motors.
