Eulertähti
Eulertähti, also known as Euler's star, is a star system located approximately 32.7 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Taurus. The system is named after the famous mathematician Leonhard Euler, who made significant contributions to various fields of mathematics. The primary star in the Eulertähti system is a yellow dwarf star similar to our Sun, designated as Eulertähti A. It is orbited by at least one known exoplanet, Eulertähti Ab, which was discovered in 2009. The exoplanet is a gas giant with a mass similar to that of Jupiter and orbits its host star at a distance comparable to that of Jupiter from the Sun. The discovery of Eulertähti Ab has provided valuable insights into the formation and evolution of planetary systems, as well as the potential for habitability in other star systems. The Eulertähti system continues to be a subject of interest for astronomers studying the diversity of planetary systems in the universe.
