Etterbelastning

Etterbelastning refers to the pressure that remains in a system after the primary flow has stopped. It is a phenomenon observed in various fluid systems, particularly those involving pipes, pumps, and valves. When a pump stops or a valve closes, the inertia of the moving fluid can cause a temporary increase in pressure downstream of the valve or before the pump.
