Estonianspeaking refers to people who speak Estonian as their primary language or as a significant part of their regular linguistic repertoire. In sociolinguistic and census contexts, Estonian-speaking individuals are identified as a distinct language group, separate from speakers of languages such as Russian, Finnish, or English. The term is used to describe language competence and community identity rather than ethnicity alone.

Estonian, or eesti keel, is a Finnic language in the Uralic language family. It is the official language of Estonia and is used in government, education, media, and daily public life.
