Estetoi is a term that originates from the Greek word "αισθητοί" (aisthētoi), which translates to "sensible" or "perceptible." In the context of ancient Greek philosophy, particularly in the works of Aristotle, estetoi refers to the objects or entities that are perceptible by the senses. These are the things that can be experienced through sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell, as opposed to things that are only intelligible or conceptual.

In Aristotle's metaphysics, estetoi are contrasted with "noeta" (νοητά), which are the objects of thought or intellect. While noeta are abstract and eternal, estetoi are concrete and subject to change. They exist in the physical world and are the primary focus of empirical investigation.
