Eromanga

Eromanga is a town located in Queensland, Australia, approximately 1,000 kilometers north of Brisbane. It is situated in the Shire of Quilpie. Historically, Eromanga gained prominence as a significant pastoral district and became a hub for the sheep and cattle industries in the region. Its name is believed to be derived from an Aboriginal word meaning "oil" or "country of oil," foreshadowing its later importance.
