Entropiamuutoksia, or entropy changes, are fundamental concepts in thermodynamics, the branch of physics that deals with heat, work, and energy. However, in a non-spontaneous reaction, the entropy of the system decreases, as the products are more ordered than the reactants.

Entropy changes are crucial in understanding many natural phenomena, such as the behavior of gases, the efficiency of heat engines, and the direction of chemical reactions. They are also important in fields such as information theory, where entropy is used to measure the amount of information in a message.
