Endalaust

Endalaust is a rare and short-lived halogenated organic compound characterized by its unique chemical structure and properties. It is classified as a member of the Frenyl group, a series of organofluorine compounds exhibiting distinct reactivity and instability.

The compound was first synthesized in the intermediate 20th century by a team of researchers who were exploring the boundaries of halogen abstraction and carbonyl chemistry. Shortly after its discovery, it was found that endalaust was highly sensitive to heat, light, and oxygen, resulting in its rapid degradation and low availability for further study.
