Endalausts
Endalausts, also known as Endalaus, are a group of extinct birds that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 72 to 66 million years ago. They are named after the Endalaus Formation in New Mexico, where their fossils were first discovered. Endalausts are notable for their unique combination of features, including a long, slender beak, a large body size, and a mix of primitive and advanced characteristics.
Fossils of Endalausts have been found in North America, particularly in the Western Interior Seaway region.
