Emäksessä
Emäksessä is a Finnish term that translates to "in base" or "alkaline solution." It refers to a chemical environment where the concentration of hydroxide ions (OH-) is greater than the concentration of hydrogen ions (H+). This condition is typically achieved by dissolving a base in water. Bases are substances that can accept protons or donate hydroxide ions.
