Elrom

Elrom is a small rural village in the Bas-Sresi province of Ethiopia, located in the Benishangul-Gumuz Region. The village lies along the banks of the Beles River, which separates the Benishangul-Gumuz Region from the Amhara Region. Elrom is situated approximately 25 kilometers southeast of the regional capital, Asosa.

The village has a relatively small population, primarily composed of the Gumuz ethnic group. Elrom is part of the Gena Bula Woreda administrative district. The area surrounding the village is predominantly rural and agricultural, with various crops such as corn, sorghum, and coffee being grown. The nearby Beles River also supports fishing activities in the region.
