Elektronikåtervinning, also known as e-waste recycling, is the process of dismantling and recovering materials from discarded electrical and electronic equipment. This includes a wide range of items such as computers, mobile phones, televisions, refrigerators, and batteries. The primary goal of elektronikåtervinning is to manage these complex waste streams responsibly, minimizing their environmental impact and conserving valuable resources.

The increasing production and consumption of electronic devices have led to a significant rise in e-waste globally.
