Electrocerebral

Electrocerebral refers to any electrical activity originating within the brain. This activity is generated by the electrochemical signals passed between neurons. These signals are fundamental to all brain functions, including thought, perception, emotion, and movement.

The most common method for measuring electrocerebral activity is electroencephalography (EEG). EEG uses electrodes placed on the scalp to detect and record the electrical potentials generated by the brain.
