Ejakuláció

Ejakuláció is the process by which semen is expelled from the body through the penis. It typically occurs during sexual arousal and orgasm, and is an essential part of male reproduction. The process involves a series of physiological responses, including muscle contractions and the release of seminal fluid.

The seminal fluid is a mixture of sperm cells produced in the testes and fluids from the seminal vesicles, prostate gland, and bulbourethral glands. These fluids nourish and transport the sperm. The ejaculatory reflex is controlled by the nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system plays a significant role in initiating and maintaining the process. Following ejaculation, the penis typically becomes flaccid as blood flow returns to its normal state.
