Egjiptins is a term sometimes used to refer to the ancient Egyptians, the inhabitants of ancient Egypt. This civilization flourished in northeastern Africa for millennia, along the fertile banks of the Nile River. Its history is typically divided into distinct periods, including the Early Dynastic Period, the Old Kingdom, the First Intermediate Period, the Middle Kingdom, the Second Intermediate Period, the New Kingdom, and the Late Period, followed by Greco-Roman rule.
