Edastajale

Edastajale is an Estonian term that functions as the allative singular form of the noun edastaja, meaning broadcaster or transmitter. The base edastaja refers to a person or entity responsible for broadcasting, relaying, or distributing content. The allative case, formed with the suffix -le, marks direction toward a recipient or target of an action, so edastajale literally means “to the broadcaster” or “to the transmitter.” The corresponding plural form is edastajatele, used for “to the broadcasters.”

In usage, edastajale appears in sentences describing sending or delivering materials to a broadcaster or distribution channel. Examples include: Dokumendid tuleb edastajale esitada hiljemalt täna (The documents must be submitted to the broadcaster today). Sõnum tuleb edastajale saata (The message must be sent to the broadcaster). The form is common in formal communication, newsroom procedures, and content-distribution workflows.

Notes: As a case form, edastajale changes with number and context, so edastaja remains the nominative form when referring to the broadcaster as the subject.
