EC225

EC225, also known as Airbus Helicopters H225, is a long-range passenger transport helicopter developed by Airbus Helicopters, a division of Airbus Group. It is part of the Airbus Super Puma family and is designed for a variety of roles including offshore transportation, search and rescue, and military missions.

The EC225 first flew in March 2000 and entered service in 2004. It is powered by two Turbomeca Makila 2A turbines, which provide high power outputs suitable for carrying substantial payloads over extended distances. The helicopter features a spacious five-blade main rotor and a four-blade tail rotor, contributing to its stability and noise reduction.
