Durotans
The Durotriges, also known as Durotans, were a Celtic tribe that inhabited the region of modern-day southern England and northern France during the Iron Age. They are first mentioned in the works of the Roman historian Julius Caesar, who described them as one of the tribes that inhabited the island of Britain before the Roman conquest. The Durotriges were part of the broader Celtic confederation known as the Trinovantes, which also included the Catuvellauni and the Coritani.
