Duringärmfermentering
Duringärmfermentering, also known as ale fermentation, is a type of fermentation used in brewing, particularly for ales. It is characterized by the use of top-fermenting yeast strains, typically Saccharomyces cerevisiae. These yeasts work best at warmer temperatures, generally between 15 to 24 degrees Celsius (60 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit). During this process, the yeast floats to the top of the fermenting wort, creating a frothy head, hence the name "top-fermenting."
This type of fermentation is typically faster than bottom fermentation, often completing within a few days
