Dubbelmonarchie
Dubbelmonarchie, also known as a dual monarchy, is a form of government in which two separate kingdoms are ruled by the same monarch. This union is often based on a dynastic link or a treaty that brings together two states under a single sovereign. While united under one ruler, the constituent kingdoms typically retain their own distinct laws, administrations, and political institutions. The monarch acts as the head of state for both entities, but the actual governance of each kingdom often differs significantly.
