Druckminderung
Druckminderung, also known as pressure reduction or pressure let-down, refers to the process of decreasing the pressure of a fluid, whether it be a liquid or a gas, from a higher initial pressure to a lower target pressure. This is a fundamental operation in many industrial, commercial, and domestic applications. The primary device used for druckminderung is a pressure reducing valve, often simply called a regulator.
Pressure reducing valves work by sensing the downstream pressure and automatically adjusting to maintain that pressure
Common applications for druckminderung include regulating water pressure in buildings to protect plumbing fixtures and appliances
