Dowoon

Dowoon, born Yoon Do-won on February 11, 1999, is a South Korean musician and drummer. He is a member of Day6, a South Korean rock band formed by JYP Entertainment. Since Day6’s debut in 2015, Dowoon has served as the group’s drummer and percussionist, providing the rhythmic foundation for their music and live performances.

Dowoon joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee before Day6’s formation. As part of Day6, he has contributed to the band’s recording projects, concerts, and tours. Day6 is recognized for blending rock and pop influences, releasing multiple studio albums and extended plays and building a dedicated fanbase in Korea and internationally.

Within Day6, Dowoon is known for his steady drumming and energetic stage presence, and he works with the other members to develop the group’s evolving sound. While primarily focused on percussion, his role also involves collaboration on arrangements and performance dynamics during recordings and live shows.
