Dobrujan
Dobrujan is a historical region situated in the northeast of Bulgaria and the southeast of Romania. It is a fertile plain bordered by the Danube River to the north and west, and the Black Sea to the east. The southern part, Southern Dobruja, belongs to Bulgaria, while Northern Dobruja is part of Romania. The region has a diverse ethnic and cultural history, having been inhabited by various groups throughout the centuries, including Thracians, Greeks, Romans, Bulgars, Pechenegs, Cumans, and Ottomans.
