Direktmätkällor
Direktmätkällor, also known as primary sources, are original materials created by individuals or groups at the time an event occurred. These sources provide firsthand accounts and are crucial for historical research. They can include letters, diaries, speeches, photographs, artifacts, and official documents. Primary sources offer authenticity and depth, as they are not subject to interpretation or bias. However, they may lack context and can be difficult to verify. Examples of direktmätkällor include the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and the diary of Anne Frank. They are essential for understanding the past accurately and are often used in conjunction with sekundärmätkällor, or secondary sources, which analyze and interpret primary sources.
