Direktanslutning, often translated as direct connection, refers to a method of linking or connecting two entities without any intermediary. This concept is prevalent across various fields, from telecommunications and networking to electrical engineering and even more abstract systems. In networking, a direktanslutning typically signifies a point-to-point link between two devices, such as two computers directly connected via an Ethernet cable or a wireless ad-hoc network.
