Diacriticised is a term used to describe the process or state of having diacritics added to letters. Diacritics are marks or signs added to a letter to alter its pronunciation, indicate stress, or distinguish it from a similar-looking letter. These marks can include accents, umlauts, tildes, cedillas, and others.

The act of diacriticising a word or text is common in many languages that use alphabets derived from the Latin script. For instance, in French, the acute accent in "é" (as in café) or the grave accent in "è" (as in père) are diacritics that change the pronunciation of the vowel.
