Cynethryth

Cynethryth was the queen consort of Offa of Mercia, a powerful Anglo-Saxon kingdom in the 8th century. She was the wife of King Offa and the mother of their daughter, Eadgyth. While historical records concerning her life are somewhat sparse, Cynethryth is known to have wielded significant influence during her husband's reign.
