Csehszlovák is the Hungarian name for Czechoslovakia, a former country in Central Europe. It was created in 1918 after the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The new nation was formed from the lands of Bohemia and Moravia, which were historically part of the Austrian Crown, and Slovakia, which was part of the Kingdom of Hungary.
