Crépit

Crépit is a series of Taiwanese dramas that aired from 2005 to 2008. The series was produced by Q-Works and CMC Entertainment and was primarily broadcast on the Chinese television networks CTS, FTV, and TTV.

The first drama of the series, 'My PhD Student Thinks I'm the BEST!!! (Ciqizi Shi Wo Shi Hen Nian)', was broadcast in 2005 and was a moderate success. However, it was the second drama, 'My PhD Student Thinks I'm the WORST (Ciqizi Shi Wo Shi Hen Meiyouzi)', that truly gained popularity and became a flagship series for Crépit.

The Crépit series typically centers around a highly intellectual and aged 'PhD Student', a male protagonist who possesses immense knowledge and genius-level intellect, but is inexperienced in love and relationships. His romantic interactions with the main female lead are often comedic and heartwarming.
