Corrijáis

Corrijáis is the second-person plural present subjunctive form of the Spanish verb corregir, meaning “you all correct.” It is used with the pronoun vosotros in contexts that require the subjunctive mood, such as after verbs of desire, doubt, necessity, or emotion, or in clauses introduced by que.

Morphology and paradigm: corregir is irregular in the present subjunctive. The stem changes to corrij-, and the vosotros form is corrijáis. The full present subjunctive paradigm is: yo corrija, tú corrijas, él corrija, nosotros corrijamos, vosotros corrijáis, ellos corrijan.

Regional usage: the vosotros form is standard in Spain and parts of the Americas, but in many Latin American varieties the corresponding subjunctive form for ustedes is corrijan. In those varieties, corrijan is used with ustedes instead of corrijáis. The form corrijáis is therefore most common in Spain and in literature or formal writing that preserves the vosotros system.

Imperative note: corríáis is not the occurs of an affirmative imperative; the affirmative vosotros imperative is corregid, while corrijáis appears in negative commands or in subordinate clauses within the present subjunctive. For example: Es necesario que vosotros corrijáis los errores; No corrijáis esos datos sin verificarlos.
