CorongCorong

Corong-Corong, sometimes spelled Corong-Cong or Corong Corong, is a coastal barangay of the municipality of El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. It lies along the western coast of Palawan, facing Bacuit Bay and opposite the town center of El Nido.

The barangay is characterized by a long shoreline with sandy beaches and limestone cliffs that form part of the Bacuit Bay landscape. The area includes a range of resort developments and serves as a gateway for island-hopping tours to the Bacuit Archipelago. Fishing remains a traditional livelihood for some residents.

Corong-Corong is connected to El Nido town by road and is part of the network of communities along Palawan’s west coast. Visitors typically access Corong-Corong via El Nido and use local transport to reach beaches and boat departure points for Bacuit tours.

As a barangay of El Nido, Corong-Corong is administered by a barangay council led by a captain. The area has grown in prominence as part of El Nido’s broader tourism development, while maintaining local residential and fishing activities.
