Congiunga

Congiunga is the Italian verb form derived from congiungere, meaning to join or connect. It is most recognizably the present subjunctive third-person singular form, used with subjects such as lui or lei in subordinate clauses (che lui congiunga) and also employed as the formal imperative for Lei.

In addition to its use in the present subjunctive, congiunga can function as a formal command in the imperative mood when addressing a single person politely (Lei congiunga). The corresponding plural imperative for Loro is congiungano.
