Ceonheard
Ceonheard is a fictional character from the "The Lord of the Rings" series by J.R.R. Tolkien. He is a Dwarf of the House of Durin, one of the thirteen Dwarf houses that settled in the Grey Mountains. Ceonheard is known for his role in the Battle of the Five Armies, where he fought alongside his cousin, Dáin Ironfoot, against the forces of Sauron. Ceonheard was a skilled warrior and a loyal member of the Dwarf community. He is mentioned in the appendices of "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Silmarillion," where his name appears in the list of Dwarves who fought in the Battle of the Five Armies. Despite his brief appearance in the main narrative, Ceonheard's character adds depth to the Dwarf community and their struggles against the forces of darkness. His name is derived from the Old English words "ceon," meaning "battle," and "heard," meaning "hardy" or "strong."
