Carbureting
Carbureting is a process used in internal combustion engines to mix fuel and air in the correct proportion for combustion. The core component responsible for this is the carburetor. Inside the carburetor, a stream of air is drawn through a Venturi, a constricted section of the passage. As the air speeds up through the Venturi, its pressure drops, creating a vacuum. This vacuum draws fuel from a fuel bowl through a jet into the airstream. The fuel atomizes, breaking into tiny droplets, and mixes with the incoming air. The resulting fuel-air mixture then flows into the engine cylinders.
