CO2käyttöinen is a Finnish term that translates to "CO2-powered" or "powered by CO2". It refers to systems, devices, or vehicles that utilize carbon dioxide as their primary energy source or propellant. This concept can manifest in various applications, ranging from recreational toys to more advanced industrial or transportation technologies.

One common example of CO2käyttöinen technology is found in airsoft guns and certain types of pneumatic tools. In these applications, compressed carbon dioxide is stored in a cartridge. When the trigger is pulled, a valve releases a small amount of CO2, which rapidly expands and propels a projectile or drives a mechanism. The used CO2 dissipates into the atmosphere as a gas.
