CO2Rückgewinnung
CO2Rückgewinnung refers to the process of capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) from industrial emissions or the atmosphere for subsequent reuse or storage. This technology is a key component of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) strategies aimed at mitigating climate change. Various methods exist for CO2Rückgewinnung, including absorption, adsorption, membrane separation, and cryogenic processes. Absorption, for instance, typically involves using liquid solvents that selectively absorb CO2. Adsorption utilizes solid materials that bind to CO2 molecules. Membrane technologies employ semi-permeable barriers that allow CO2 to pass through while retaining other gases. Cryogenic separation cools the gas stream to liquefy CO2.
The captured CO2 can then be utilized in a range of applications. This includes enhanced oil recovery
