CENELECs
CENELEC, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, is a European standardization organization that develops voluntary European standards for electrical, electronic, and related technologies. It is one of the three main European standardization bodies in the European System for Standardization, alongside CEN (general standards) and ETSI (telecommunications). CENELEC standards are intended to improve safety, interoperability, and market access across Europe and are recognized by the European Union and the European Free Trade Association.
