BördeHakels

BördeHakels is a municipality in the district of Salzlandkreis, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was formed on January 1, 2010, by the merger of the formerly independent municipalities of Dodendorf, Glinde, Hohenerxleben, Schönebeck, and Staßfurt. The name BördeHakels is derived from the region's characteristic fertile loess soil, known as the "Börde," and the historical district of "Hakels."

The municipality is situated in the fertile Magdeburg Börde, a historically significant agricultural region. Its geographical location offers a landscape characterized by open fields and rolling hills. BördeHakels is strategically located with good transport links, facilitating access to surrounding towns and cities.
