Bundm

Bundm is a term used in the originally Swedish social media service Yik Yak, a location-based social media platform that allowed users to share anonymous, geotagged messages with others within a specific geographic area.

A bundm, similar to a group chat, was a conversation with a specific group of people that had chosen to interact with each other on a particular Yik Yak community thread. Bundms were essentially a collection of Posts, or main user messages on a platform, and comments associated therewith, allowing users to engage with other users.

Bundms are often used within communities sharing a similar set of interests, frequent regional inhabitants, or affinity groups. Bundms can create an environment where users may focus on sharing and debating topics across an informal anonymous networking format.

People who initiate a bundm may typically do so to engage others from their desired geographical area to join in on the conversation. Community organization, promotions and exchanges of activities can all be facilitated through bundm's variable agreed-upon frame conditions.

Use of bundms could also convey the extent of space through discussions - which could also act as critique through monitoring usage of local invasions of time.
