Bulgarus
Bulgarus, also known as Bulgarino, was an Italian jurist who lived during the 12th century. He was a prominent figure among the "Four Doctors" of the medieval Bologna school of law, alongside Martinus, Jacobus, and Hugo. Bulgarus was a student of the renowned Irnerius, considered the founder of the Bologna school. His legal scholarship focused on the interpretation and application of Roman law, particularly the Corpus Juris Civilis.
