Boua

Boua is a district in central Laos, located in Vientiane Province. It is a rural administrative district that forms part of the provincial structure of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The district comprises a number of villages organized into commune groups, with local governance carried out by district authorities in conjunction with village committees. Boua’s residents predominantly rely on agriculture, with rice cultivation and related activities providing the main economic base; small-scale trading, handicrafts, and service enterprises support daily life in town centers and market areas.
