Blutanteile

Blutanteile refers to the distinct components that make up blood. Blood is a complex fluid tissue composed of several specialized parts, each with vital functions. The primary components are plasma and blood cells. Plasma, the liquid matrix, constitutes about 55% of blood volume. It is largely water, but also contains dissolved proteins, glucose, mineral ions, hormones, carbon dioxide, and blood cells themselves. Plasma serves to transport these substances throughout the body.

The cellular components of blood, collectively known as the formed elements, comprise the remaining 45% of blood volume. These include red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes), and platelets (thrombocytes). Red blood cells are the most abundant type, responsible for carrying oxygen from the lungs to the body's tissues and transporting carbon dioxide back to the lungs. White blood cells are part of the immune system, defending the body against infection and disease. Platelets are small, irregular-shaped cell fragments that play a crucial role in blood clotting, helping to stop bleeding when a blood vessel is injured. The careful balance and function of these blutanteile are essential for maintaining overall health and homeostasis.
